Lyodd Scarrow Forced to Resign From PMC

Our group has learned Mr. Scarrow was forced to resign his CEO Position with Physicans Medical Center (PMC) . How this came about is un-clear but one could only guess. People are being hurt by this mess and beleive me it is NOT the fault of the good LANL Employees. We are only fighting for what is right and doing it the way we seem fit. We were told point blank it was up to us to handle this matter in what ever way we deemed. LANL employees are NOT stupid people and when you open up a bee hive you can expect to get stung.

Several other managers including the Director of Nursing resigning in the past month. Vendor invoices not being paid on time.

Overview Of Case ( THIS CASE IS NOW CLOSED)

Some LANL employees(Approx 70) used Physicans Medical Center of Santa Fe (PMC) to have a surgey done. These people were reffered to PMC from their Orthopedic doctor namely, Dr Auge who is a United Health Care provider. DR. Auge works for Northern New Mexico Orthopedics and operates an office in Los Alamos, NM and in Esponola, NM.

All the employees I have spoken to have a similar situation occuring. These people, including myself, were told by PMC the day of the surgery that UHC would pay for the surgery fully, excpet for the standard 10% deductible. We were given a signed document stating that PMC would consider us as IN -network for our insuarnce purposes. Some, including myself, had a witness who heard PMC staff tell us we had nothing too worry about and we would not inccurr any others costs other then the standard 10% deductible.

Now all these people are being billed from PMC for the total amount due of the sugery. PMC is threating to take us to collections. That's a issue for most since we are cleared professionalls. This amount ranges from $3,400 to $20,000 dollars. PMC is blaming UHC and Lanl for the problem. UHC will not pay even after appealing and LANL is being quite about the matter and quite frank, is NOT helping it's employees.

If needed, some of these employees have agreed to seek legal council and pursue a group law suite against PMC and possibly the other parties involved.

Information exhange will be vital to the case. This Blog will be used as the means of distrubting the information.
